Air Vents & Prismatics
Ventilation and lighting panels that drop into a standard 600 x 600mm ceiling grid in place of a tile.
Egg crate air vents allow air to circulate between the ceiling void and the room below, which matters where you have extraction, air conditioning or heat build-up. Prismatic light diffusers sit beneath fluorescent or LED fittings and spread the light evenly, cutting glare in offices and classrooms.
Both are lightweight plastic and install the same way as a tile – lift, tilt, drop into the grid. No tools needed.

Egg crate air vents
An egg crate panel is an open lattice that drops into the grid in place of a solid tile. It lets air move between the ceiling void and the room below, which matters wherever you have extraction, air conditioning or heat building up under the ceiling.
Common uses are server and comms rooms, plant rooms, kitchens with extraction running through the void, and any room where the air conditioning returns through the ceiling rather than through a dedicated duct.
How many you need depends on the airflow, not the room size. If you are unsure, your air conditioning or ventilation contractor will specify the free area required.
Prismatic light diffusers
A prismatic diffuser sits below a fluorescent or LED fitting and spreads the light across the panel, so you see an even lit surface rather than the tube or the individual diodes.
The prisms cut glare, which is why they are standard in offices, classrooms and anywhere people work at screens for long periods. They also hide the fitting itself, giving a cleaner ceiling.
They replace a tile in the grid the same way an egg crate does, so no additional framing is needed.
Fitting
Both panels are lightweight plastic and install exactly as a ceiling tile does. Lift, tilt, drop into the grid opening. No tools and no fixings.
Both are made for the standard 600 x 600mm grid, so if your ceiling takes a 595 x 595mm tile it will take these. If you are working to an older imperial grid, call us on 01803 403404 before ordering.
